| The LUV-IT Range Of Space Country Style furniture is manufactured in our factory by skilled cabinet makers and wood carvers.
We have been manufacturing this style of furniture for over 5 years for a world market but with slight variations. The basic construction is constant and is purchased and enjoyed by the buying public.
Every effort is taken to ensure that our furniture retains that classic ,antique ,used but also unique look. If every joint, hinge and corner post was perfect the concept of manufacturing a modern antique would be lost and our image of the past forgotten.

| The materials used in construction are hardwoods such as Beech, Birch and Oak,medium density fibre board(MDF),or high density fibre board (HDF).Large areas are constructed from MDF as flexing of natural timber can cause cracking. Exposed edges are lipped with hardwood which varies in depth due to machining, and hand finishing.Exposed surfaces are also timbered veneered.

| Joints are glued and doweled, if necessary joints are screwed or nailed to add extra strength. Drawers are dove tailed and glued.The underside of the drawers is fitted with a ‘Bird's tad slide. A flexible clip is placed at the back of each drawer to allow the drawer to be stopped when pulled out. A full panel divides each drawer space for added stability.
The placing of hinges is deliberately inconsistent and in some cases they are raised to create the unique‘antique look'. |
| All units are finished with nine coats of paints. This being made up of two sealing coats ,one primer coat, two base coats, two colour coats, one finishing coat and one clear finishing coat(semi matt).The paints used are manufactured in and purchased from America.These specialist paints most notably provides great‘heat protection'.Furthermore,as a result of such care being taken to hand paint each item individually, no two pieces will ever look the same,thus ensvring that you have a unique‘one off' piece of furniture.

A great deal of research has been employed in this area to avoid damage during transportahon.Our furniture is protected by the very latest and cost effective methods.In fact our packaged furniture can even withstand a drop of up to 25CMs. Illustrating its durability.

| All timbers are harvested from carefully managed forests which are regularly replanted.A minimal amount of timber is wasted and every effort is taken to ensure that this is transformed into compressed fibre boards and useful MDF. Every effort is taken to ensure that our company operates in an environmentally friendly Manner.

| Most of our manufacturing is carried out by hand, using traditional methods and skilled people. This cannot be reproduced by mass production methods. Thus ensuring that each piece in the French Country Collection is Unique.
